Ahhh, the Gonzo. We've been really anxious to get this one done. Paddling a crappy fiberglass proto is one thing, but getting the final plastic boat onto the water, now that's a special treat. Obviously there are no logos, or even outfitting on this, but we were still really excited to get it on the water, even if it was a lake, just to feel how it... felt. And it felt every bit what we were hoping for....  

Here are some images and a short video of the first District 11 out of the mold. No logos or outfitting on it at all, but you can see here already how cool it looks and how well it paddles. This is just a little lake in Ningbo close to the factory, but even here it feels great. The boat is amazingly fast for only 350cm long (11'6") but it really turns on a dime, both flat, and also on the outside edge like a DR racing kayak. Can't wait to get the final plastic boat into some real hard...
